Pregnancy massage is one way to increase the `glow’ of pregnancy and ease away any physical aches or discomforts that develop as you and your baby grow together!
Many pregnant women are still working into their ninth month or running around after older children whilst managing the daily jobs of home and often some paid work as well. Massage is an effective and relaxing way to calm your whole system, muscles, mind, worries and settle your nervous system.
Massage is safe to use at any time of pregnancy and at any time be combined with acupuncture to help relieve any ongoing pain or discomfort such as sciatica, back and hip pain. Many women now use acupuncture in the last 3 – 4 weeks to help prepare the body for childbirth and combining acupuncture with massage in this way can really enhance a sense of calm and preparedness for the labour ahead.

Needing Pregnancy Massage? Book an appointment with Nicky Walker
“I’ve been a student, practitioner, and recipient of massage for 10 years, and I’m very particular in choosing my massage therapist. During my pregnancy I had monthly massages with Nicky which was an absolute (and necessary!) treat. It was just very special to be able to totally tune out (or in), receive the warm, nurturing touch and rebalance myself. Nicky is very knowledgeable, grounded, and tuned into her client.” — A.M, yoga teacher.
