COVID-19 information
I’m happy to be able to keep working under the traffic light system at red, orange or green. I’d like to help you keep as well as possible alongside dealing with the pain or injury or whatever it may be that brings you in for treatment.
I’m also able to see all patients regardless of vaccination status so a vaccination pass is not required. The Health and Disability Code states the right for all people to have access to healthcare regardless of their beliefs and this has guided the Ministry of Health in their guidelines for provision of care for Allied Health providers such as acupuncture.
How acupuncture sessions will work
I am fully vaccinated and will wear a mask. I ask that you also wear a mask but you aren’t expected to keep it on if you are lying face down. You need to be able to breathe!
Once the needles are in I will leave the room to reduce the amount of contact we have.
Between each patient there is a 15 minute gap to air the treatment room, clean and change the linen. Please come in at the scheduled time of your appointment and not before. There is a QR code in the room to scan and hand sanitiser for your use.
- Please cancel & reschedule your appointment if you or someone in your whanau feels unwell with cold or flu-like symptoms or is waiting on a COVID test result or if you have been in contact with a confirmed or probable COVID case in the last two weeks.
Gift vouchers available
A note about gift vouchers – you can book in a time for a one hour or pregnancy massage as a gift for someone or you can contact me to buy a paper voucher to gift to them. The recipient can then book themselves in online. Either way you will need to contact me to organise online payment as I don’t provide a payment through the booking system.
A note about booking
With my online booking system please be aware that your booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation email after booking. If you haven’t got a confirmation email the appointment is not in my booking calendar. If you don’t receive a confirmation email, try rebooking or contact me to book for you.
Cancellation policy
It is possible to change your appointment time if need be, however please give 24 hours notice. If you miss your appointment without notice there is a $40 charge.
